Now, director Shaan is ready with his new film 'Azhakkadal' that tells the story of fishermen, and their turbulent lives. The film has Kalabhavan Mani doing the lead role of a fisherman, who battles it out with the waves to keep his life afloat. Sruthilekshmi is the heroine of the film. Besides Mani and Sruthilekshmi, the film also stars Harisri Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan, Saikumar, Shammi Thilakan, Meghanathan and others in supporting roles. The story and script of the film has been written by T A Razak. The music has been composed by Mohan Sitara.
